Internal Self Defense Workshop: Physical & Psychic
Taught by Sifu Frank Allen,

This popular workshop addresses today's need for self-defense and teaches how effective psychic defense may eliminate the need for physical defense.

Saturday the Yin aspect of Psychic Self-Defense will be taught through the External and Secondary Consciousness Dissolving Practices of the Daoist Water Method.

Sunday we will explore how the Rolling Energy Field of Xing Yi Quan can be used as a Yang method of psychic self-defense. On both days a small array of strikes, kicks, throws and locks that adhere to the self-defense principle of "a quick simple technique to make space to escape --- and then escape ... or it’s not self-defense", will be presented.

Both days training will also include Internal Methods of developing power through focused relaxation, weight momentum, fluid pumping and energy discharge. This is a workshop, which presents useful and helpful information for everyone regardless of their level of their Internal training. It will be especially useful for people with no martial arts training as well as teaching the more practical aspects of the arts to experienced practitioners.
