This workshop will present the foundation principles of Internal Fighting: Awareness, Angles and Power, Internal Soft vs Internal Hard, Stable Rooting and the Moving Root of Pa Kua, and Large and Small Frame techniques. These principles will be explored through their use within punching, kicking, throwing and locking techniques from Pa Kua Chang, Hsing I Chuan, Tai Chi Chuan and Free Fighting techniques derived from these arts. The Internal Fighting training progression of Push Hands (Tui Shou) to Soft Hands (Rou Shou) to Free Hands (Sparring, San Shou) will also be taught.

This workshop will be of interest to all Pa Kua, Hsing I, and Tai Chi practitioners and anyone else who is interested in how Internal Fighting really works.
